Application
L-carnitine, also known as L-carnitine or vitamin BT, has the chemical formula C7H15NO3 and the chemical name (R) -3-carboxy-2-hydroxy-N, N, N-trimethylammonium hydroxide internal salt. Representative drugs include L-carnitine. It is a type of amino acid that promotes the conversion of fat into energy. The pure product is a white crystalline lens or white transparent fine powder, which is highly soluble in water, ethanol, and methanol, slightly soluble in acetone, and insoluble in ether, benzene, chloroform, and ethyl acetate. L-carnitine is highly hygroscopic, with good solubility and water absorption, and can withstand high temperatures above 200 ℃. Red meat is the main source of L-carnitine, which has no toxic side effects on the human body. The human body can also synthesize it to meet physiological needs. Not a true vitamin, just a substance similar to a vitamin. It has multiple physiological functions such as fat oxidation and decomposition, weight loss, and anti fatigue. As a food additive, it is widely used in infant and toddler food, weight loss food, athlete food, nutritional supplements for middle-aged and elderly people, nutritional fortifiers for vegetarians, and animal feed additives.
